Hello :-)

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am a total newbie to the blogging world and so am looking forward to learning more as I go along.

I thought I would start a blog so I could share my passion for food and the recipes I enjoy both cooking and eating. I had been sharing the odd one on my FaceBook page but thought it be good to have them all in one place. I am totally passionate about good food and cooking, and am looking forward to sharing my interest with you.

It has also been a good way to distract myself as I was badly missing the physical company of friends on family while on Lockdown. I can easily lose myself in my cooking, it’s a very soothing activity where one can zone out and be completely focused on the task in hand. It was also exciting to learn a new skill at the same time, i.e. setting up a blog page!

Being on Lockdown since March has meant it has not always been as easy to nip to the shops and get what ingredients you need for a dish, or be able to go out and eat fancy meals out and get tasty treats to takeaway. Many of the recipes I will be posting are suited in some way (more for some than others!) to Lockdown life. Enjoying some tasty food, even if very simple and easy, is one of the most basic pleasures in life 🙂

I will be posting here a selection of recipes I enjoy, and plan to review some of the published recipes out there too.

Really hope you enjoy cooking and eating these as much as I have. I would love to hear any comments or feedback you have.

Much Love
